Comprehensive Renovation
This course integrates the principles of clinical occlusion with a comprehensive, clinically driven approach to full mouth rehabilitation. Participants will develop a systematic understanding of occlusal diagnosis, including the causes of restorative failure, patterns of wear, functional risk factors, and when referral to a TMD specialist may be appropriate.
The course combines these diagnostic principles with comprehensive treatment planning, incorporating airway as a modifier, esthetic and functional considerations, treatment sequencing, and precise data capture. Hands-on training includes esthetically derived facebow records, deprogrammers, centric relation records, and equilibration, providing participants with practical tools to evaluate and manage complex restorative cases.
Through an occlusally and esthetically guided workflow, participants will learn to translate diagnostic findings into disciplined treatment planning and execution for predictable, stable, and high-level restorative outcomes. Each participant will also have the opportunity to present a clinical case for comprehensive evaluation and Full Mouth Rehabilitation treatment planning.

Learning Objectives:
- Perform a comprehensive rehabilitation workup using the Stevenson diagnostic framework, including airway screening, occlusal analysis, phenotype-driven periodontal assessment, and restorative evaluation.
- Determine when full-mouth rehabilitation is indicated and develop sequenced treatment plans that address biologic, functional, and esthetic concerns.
- Evaluate the role of vertical dimension in comprehensive care and apply clinical protocols for opening, testing, and restoring VDO when indicated.
- Use smile design principles and bonded functional esthetic prototypes to improve diagnosis, patient acceptance, and restorative predictability.
- Implement evidence-based restorative materials, preparation designs, and maintenance strategies to improve the longevity and success of comprehensive rehabilitative treatment.
- Apply comprehensive diagnostic principles to identify restorative risk factors.
- Record centric relation accurately and determine when a CR record is indicated.
- Assess VDO and justify when to restore versus maintain it.
