What You’ll Practice

Training follows a daily performance cycle designed to build accuracy, efficiency, and exam readiness. Participants complete bench preparations, review common errors through targeted instruction, and then re-perform procedures under timed exam conditions.

Bench training is offered in two formats: a comprehensive All-in-One program and a focused School Targeting option. Your best fit depends on your application timeline and which schools you plan to attend.

All-in-One (7-Day)

Our signature, recommended format covers the core procedures and evaluation criteria used by the majority of U.S. dental programs.

Daily mock bench exams are conducted under timed conditions

Competency recognition is awarded based on cumulative performance across both written assessments and hands-on bench work.

Recommended for most candidates, especially those applying to multiple schools or seeking full-spectrum preparation.

School Targeting (3-Day)

A focused, school-specific subset of the All-in-One curriculum designed for targeted refinement based on a defined bench exam profile.

Targets a limited set of procedures aligned with specific school expectations
Timed mock exam practice and grading within the selected scope
Written assessment reinforcing the targeted content area
Best used as a supplement to the All-in-One program

Note: Due to time constraints and limited scope, the 3-day format does not include competency recognition.

If you later receive invitations from additional schools, evaluations may include procedures not covered in this targeted format.

How do I secure my spot?

Registration is completed online only and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A seat is secured only after successful registration and payment confirmation. We recommend registering early, as sessions may fill quickly.

Is there a registration deadline?

There is no formal registration deadline. Enrollment closes automatically once a course reaches capacity.

Are seats still available for upcoming courses?

Seat availability is shown for each listed course date. Click on a specific course to view remaining availability before registering.

How soon should I register?

We strongly recommend registering as early as possible. Candidates should not wait until a bench test invitation is issued to begin preparation. Last-minute registration significantly limits practice time, feedback, and skill development.

Can I use someone else’s credit card to pay tuition?

Yes. You may use another individual’s credit card. Please ensure your own email address is entered during registration so all course communications are sent directly to you.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Tuition is non-refundable. Enrollment may be transferred to another course date or another participant, subject to a $150 administrative transfer fee.

Do I need prior bench exam experience?

No. Prior bench experience is helpful but not required. The course supports candidates at different stages, with faculty guidance focused on how work is evaluated and how to improve consistency under exam conditions.

What is the daily structure of the course?

Each training day follows a structured performance cycle:

Mock bench exams conducted under timed conditions
Faculty grading and individualized feedback

The emphasis is on repeatable performance, time management, and understanding evaluator expectations.

Will I receive individual feedback?

Yes. Faculty provide ongoing, hands-on feedback throughout the course, focusing on:

Is a certificate provided after the course?

All participants who complete the course receive a Certificate of Completion.

In addition, competency recognition may be awarded only in the All-in-One (7-Day) format based on cumulative performance across written assessments and hands-on bench work. Due to time constraints, the 3-Day School Targeting format does not include competency recognition.

How many CE credits will I receive?

Participants who complete the course receive 56 Continuing Education (CE) credits.

Are materials and supplies included in tuition?

No. Tuition covers instruction, facility use, assessments, and faculty guidance.

Participants are responsible for personal materials and supplies, including consumables, magnification loupes, and personal protective equipment (PPE). A recommended materials list is provided prior to the course.

Can I purchase materials when I arrive?

Yes. Many commonly used materials and supplies are available for purchase on-site or online.

Are meals provided during the course?

Yes. Lunch and light snacks are provided each course day to support full-day bench work.

Do you accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions?

Yes. Dietary preferences and restrictions are collected during registration and confirmed on the first day of the course.

What should I wear to the course?

Please wear comfortable clinical or lab-appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes.

What if I miss part of the course due to unforeseen circumstances?

If you miss a portion of the course, recorded instructional content may be shared when available.

Are accommodations available for nursing or pumping during the course?

Yes. Appropriate facilities are available. Please notify staff on the first day so accommodations can be arranged.

Can I share accommodations with another participant?

Yes. Many international participants choose to share accommodations. Stevenson Dental Solutions does not arrange housing directly.
