Hands-On Dental Bench Training

A rigorous, in-person bench program focused on clinical competency, technical precision, and U.S. dental bench exam readiness.

Hands-on bench training is offered in 3-day and 7-day formats for internationally trained dentists preparing for U.S. dental program bench evaluations. Course structure, expectations, and logistics are outlined below.

Hands-on dental bench course training using magnification and precision techniques
  • Hands-On Training
    Focused on technique and consistency
  • Faculty-Guided Feedback
Direct, corrective feedback for measurable improvement
  • Mock Bench Exams
Timed evaluations simulating real U.S. bench exam conditions
  • Competency Certification
    Performance-based recognition of clinical competency

What You’ll Practice

Training follows a daily performance cycle designed to build accuracy, efficiency, and exam readiness. Participants complete bench preparations, review common errors through targeted instruction, and then re-perform procedures under timed exam conditions.

How Training Is Structured

  • Bench preparations focused on core operative and prosthodontic procedures
  • Short, targeted lectures addressing common technical and conceptual errors observed during practice
  • Daily mock bench exams conducted under timed conditions
  • Written assessments reinforcing clinical concepts, evaluation criteria, and decision-making

Performance is evaluated across both written assessments and hands-on bench work. Competency certification is awarded based on cumulative scores demonstrating consistent clinical performance under exam conditions.
