Our mirror is a rhodium-plated front surface mirror with a removable cone-socket screw-retained interface made to FIT with the mirror handle. The reflective surface of the size #5 mirror is placed on the front of the glass thereby allow a perfectly reflected image with maximum light transfer and no double image. One of the biggest mistakes made by dentists is the use of “rear surface” mirrors, where the reflective coating is placed behind the glass – this creates a double image and diminished photon illumination.
