Designed by Dr. Stevenson and manufactured by Brasseler, USA has it all! The Advanced-Standing-Bench-Test-Must-Have includes 20 burs for any preparation required during the BENCH EXAM: FGC, PFM, All-Ceramic Crown, Gold Onlay, Ceramic Onlay, and preparation and restoration for both Class II Amalgam and Class II Composite. The diamonds are paired with medium grit to provide efficient cutting and fine grit to smooth the tooth surfaces. The block is organized with laser-etched diagrams and numbers of each bur.
Some burs last longer than others. However, no burs last forever. Generally speaking, carbide cutting burs such as the 330 and 245 go dull after a few preps. Diamonds last 2-5 preps, depending on use. A Diamond cleaning stone extends its life by 1-2 preps. Getting replacement burs is highly recommended.
