Description
This instrument is made of high grade stainless steel and is used to carve amalgam or wax following natural anatomical form. It is an essential carving instrument to develop grooves and triangular ridges. The round-shaped end is the Discoid which is used to find margins and remove flash after condensation and to initiate the development of fosse. The other end is the Cleoid (Latin for “claw”) and is used to refine grooves and shape the triangular ridges. The handle is the ergonomically shaped #6 which is the favorite of dentists world-wide.
