The Class II/III Bur Set is designed for the CompeDont teeth on the ADEX/CDCA Exam and RTX teeth on the WREB. Those teeth have life-like enamel, dentin, and caries. They cut like real tooth structure. The outer enamel surface is hard and best entered with either a carbide wet or diamond bur dry. To maximize your visibility, cut the tooth dry! Use the diamond burs to slowly and gently enter the tooth – avoid punching through the enamel suddenly, or chipping large segments of the tooth during preparation. This kit has everything you’ll need to safely prepare the class II and class III carious teeth on the licensure exam.
The Kit Includes one of each of the following:
|330D – a diamond version of the 330||For the initial pulpal depth and outline|
|555D – a diamond version of the 55/245||For dropping the proximal box|
|1169D – a diamond version of the 169L||For refining the axial wall|
|2 Round||For removing caries – 1.0 mm in diameter|
|4 Round||For removing caries – 1.4 mm in diameter|
|330RGS – a finishing bur for 330||To smooth the entire prep to a pristine and smooth finish|
